New PET-CT and SPECT-CT services coming November 2024 to Hastings

As part of Canopy Healthcare's ongoing commitment to delivering world-class health solutions to our local communities, we are opening a brand new Molecular Imaging and Therapy Centre in Hastings in November 2024.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature advanced Molecular imaging encompassing PET-CT and SPECT-CT.

PET-CT is an essential tool in the diagnosis and management of many cancers including melanoma, lung cancer, lymphomas, breast, colon and prostate cancer. 

SPECT-CT plays an enormous role in functional imaging of various organs such as the heart, bones and thyroid.

In addition, the new purpose-built clinic will provide a personalised treatment service (Theranostics) for a variety of treatments including prostate and neuroendocrine cancers.
