An ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA) is a minimally invasive procedure used to collect a small sample of tissue or fluid for diagnostic testing. The Radiologist uses ultrasound imaging to accurately insert a fine needle into the target area to collect the tissue sample.
