What is Cardiac MR?

 

Cardiac MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to assess the structure and function of the heart and its surrounding blood vessels.

Cardiac MR offers

Providing diagnostic certainty through visualisation of the heart tissue and accurately assess its function, CMRI can be used to assess for:

  • Damage to the heart muscle, for example from coronary artery disease
  • Cardiac Inflammation
  • Cardiomyopathies
